Howdy neighbor-
Today is August first a mere twenty-one days till summer break is over and I rejoin the American workforce once again.  In order to commemorate yet another precious vacation's passing I got in the car, drove 2.5 miles to the gym

Skyview YMCA

 where I spent 35 minutes on an elliptical because this is the body I want

but this is closer to what I have  

 

 

It's not that I abhor exercise (the husbean, boy, and I are big go see the great outdoors people)

the boy in a long abandon house in a ghost town/mining camp in east central NV

but I prefer to spend a great deal of time doing the things I love...sewing,

 crocheting

 and fiddling around in the kitchen.

Guess the year give away- one of the photographs used in this post is my actual high school senior portrait.  To be eligible for the mystery prize pack you need to post a comment containing your best guess of the year I graduated from high school.  The person who comes closet wins.
